Problem with initial load in Chrome

I have a problem with the Content Slider. When I add it to a page everything is fine. If I close Chrome and re-open it then the content slider is empty until I click on the menu item to load the page. Can anyone help. As far as I can see this is Chrome only, no issues in IE or Firefox.

Thanks,
Rich

I've done some further investigation and in Chrome it looks like the slider is working but the images are not being displayed. If I click on the menu link then it works, if I do a simple refresh it doesn't.

If anyone knows of a work-around then please let me know.

Thanks,
Rich.

I've noticed another issue that may or may not be related.

When I'm using Firefox, if I hit <CTRL><F5> to force a cache flush and full reload of the page, all of the images show up as tiny thumbnails. The slider is working, but the images are really, really small.

To fix the issue, I have to hit <F5> and do a normal page reload, and then the images are back to normal size. This is NOT intermittent. I can make this issue happen every time. Strange, eh?

The page containing the slider is here:
